Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 12
Tomball, Texas · Chartered by Lakewood Methodist Church
Pack 12 is a community of families building adventures together. Our scouts hike, camp, build pinewood derby cars, learn skills that stick with them for life, and have a lot of fun along the way.
We welcome boys and girls from kindergarten through 5th grade, from any school. If your family is new to Tomball or new to scouting, we’d love to meet you.

What is Cub Scouts?
Cub Scouts is the entry point into Scouting America for kids in grades K–5. Scouts are organized into dens by grade, and all of our dens together make up the pack. Dens meet a couple of times a month for hands-on activities, and the whole pack gets together monthly for bigger events like campouts, ceremonies, and our signature races.
Along the way, scouts work toward rank advancement — Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light — by completing adventures designed for their age. They earn badges, build confidence, and learn what it means to be part of something larger than themselves.
Why families pick Pack 12
- Family-friendly. Parents and siblings are part of the program, not spectators on the sidelines.
- Outdoor focus. We get our scouts outside as much as we can — campouts, hikes, service projects, and exploring the Texas outdoors.
- Trained leaders. Every adult leader completes Scouting America’s Youth Protection Training before working with scouts.
- Affordable. Annual fees are modest, and our popcorn fundraiser helps offset costs for the whole pack. No scout is ever turned away for financial reasons.
How we communicate
We use email and group text for day-to-day pack communication. New families get added to both once registered. Big-picture info — schedules, rules, traditions — lives on this website so you always have a place to look.
